Email Marketing

Transactional Email

A transactional email is an automated message triggered by a specific user action, such as a purchase confirmation, password reset, or shipping notification. Unlike promotional emails, they are expected and have very high open rates.

Examples

After a customer completes a purchase, a transactional email is sent with order details, estimated delivery date, and a tracking link.

Best Practices

Use transactional emails as an opportunity to reinforce brand experience and include subtle cross-sell suggestions without overwhelming the primary message.
